Who we are

Warm Paw Studio is a small independent studio selling hand-painted press-on nail sets and pet keepsakes. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit this website or place an order, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Order information: your name, email address, shipping address, and the items you ordered. We need this to make and deliver your order.
• Customisation material: photos of your pet and any notes you send us for a custom set. These are used only to produce your order.
• Correspondence: emails and messages you send to our support address.
• Basic technical data: our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and abuse prevention. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.

What we never collect

We never see or store your card number. All payments are processed by PayPal. When you pay, you enter your payment details on PayPal's own secure pages; we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, together with the transaction reference and the shipping details you provide.

Why we use your data

• To produce, personalise, and ship your order (performance of a contract).
• To answer your questions and handle returns or disputes (legitimate interest).
• To keep records required for tax and accounting (legal obligation).
• To detect and prevent fraudulent orders and abuse of our site (legitimate interest).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

Who we share it with

• PayPal — to process payments and handle buyer protection claims.
• Shipping carriers and postal services — to deliver your order and provide tracking.
• Cloudflare — our hosting and content delivery provider, which processes request logs on our behalf.
• Professional advisers — only where required by law.

International transfers

We operate from China and use service providers based in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent lawful mechanism.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting rules in our jurisdiction, typically 6 years. Customisation photos are deleted within 12 months of your order being delivered, unless you ask us to keep them for a future order. Support emails are deleted after 24 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@your-domain.com. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. We use only what is strictly necessary for the site to function and for secure checkout. PayPal may set its own cookies on its payment pages, which are governed by PayPal's privacy policy.

Children

Our products are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the site.
